Ohio Valley Shakespeare Conference

The Ohio Valley Shakespeare Festival is coming to Bowling Green State University from October 8 – 10.  A special feature will be a performance of Macbeth on Friday, October 9th, at 7:30 pm.  The play will be performed by the Rubber City Shakespeare Company, and the performance will be held at the Performing Arts Center, Bowling Green Middle School.Screen Shot 2015-09-30 at 2.13.17 PM

Rhetoric & Writing Student and Faculty Receive University Dissertation Award

Rhetoric & Writing graduate Dr. Megan Adams and Megan’s advisor, Dr. Kristine L. Blair, are the recipients of the BGSU’s 2015 Distinguished Dissertation Award. Dr. Blair describes Dr. Adams’ dissertation, Through Their Lenses: Examining Community-Sponsored Digital Literacy Practices, as “a wonderful model of the power of video and multimodality in both data collection and data representation.”

Megan, a May 2015 Rhetoric & Writing Program graduate, is now Assistant Professor of Communication at the University of Findlay. Through Their Lenses: Examining Community-Sponsored Digital Literacy Practices can be accessed electronically through OhioLink and the BGSU libraries, at this link: http://maurice.bgsu.edu/record=b3959598~S0.
