Doctoral candidate Pauline Baird gives keynote address

Posted by bgsuenglish on June 18, 2015

Pauline Baird, a doctoral candidate in the Rhetoric and Writing program, gave the keynote address for the Buxton-Friendship Heritage Fund meeting in Manhattan earlier this year.  Her talk was entitled “Storymaking Practices of Buxton Women:  Our Legacy, Our Pride, Our Responsibility,” and drew upon some of the work that will form her dissertation.  If you’d like to read her keynote address, it’s available in the newsletter on page four.
