Posted by bgsuenglish on March 15, 2011

Each spring, the Fayetta Paulsen Chapter of Mortar Board at BGSU presents a University instructor with the opportunity to give their own version of the “Last Lecture,” the widely acclaimed 2007 lecture given by Carnegie Mellon University professor and cancer survivor Randy Pausch. This year, the English Department’s own Theresa Williams, novelist, poet and Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing and Literature has been invited to give the Last Lecture. She will be speaking about forging a relationship with and the many ways we can make our life meaningful.

The event takes place tonight, Tuesday March 15 from 8:00-9:00 p.m. in Olscamp Hall 115 and is open to all. Admission is free and light refresments will be available.

BGSU Mortar Board is a Senior National Honor Society which recognizes students for excellence in Leadership, Scholarship, and Service.
