Spring Harvest Festival of Writing

Posted by bgsuenglish on February 13, 2008

Prairie Margins, Bowling Green State University’s national undergraduate literary magazine, will be hosting the Spring Harvest Festival of Writing on Saturday, February 16 from 10 am to 6 pm in room 201 of the Bowen-Thompson Student Union.

Designed to be an event for students and the community to emphasize writers and writing, the festival consists of hour-long sessions discussing topics in fiction, poetry, and literary publishing led by both Prairie Margins staff and graduate students of the BGSU Creative Writing program.

The festival will also be sponsoring a reading by distinguished undergraduate fiction writer Seth Fried at 4 pm in room 201, followed by an open mic event in the Black Swamp Pub from 5-6 with free dessert.
