“Pan Africanism in Early Black Narratives of Slavery”

Dr. Babacar M’Baye, Assistant Professor of English and Pan-African Studies at Kent State University, and a 2002 graduate of the American Culture Studies PhD program, will deliver a lecture, “Pan Africanism in Early Black Narratives of Slavery,” this Friday, February 15, from 9:30-11:00 am in 206 East Hall.

Dr. M’Baye’s lecture will be followed at 11:30 by an ACS pizza lunch and reception in the ACS conference room, 103 East Hall. Dr. M’Baye is one of the ACS program’s most distinguished recent graduates. This event is sponsored by the ACS Program and the Department of English.
