We are sorry to report the sad news that Flauren Schafer, mother of former Creative Writing/Women’s Studies secretary Mary McGowan, passed away last Saturday evening. The Department secretarial staff will be attending the funeral services; the main English Offices will be closed from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm on Wednesday, February 13.
